Pivetal® Rapid Differential Stains are designed to stain air-dried peripheral blood smears, FNAs, cytospins and tissue imprints with clarity and rapidity. They can be used for air-dried tissue, lymph node imprints and rapid assessment of the adequacy of fine needle aspiration preparations.

Fixative Stain #1 is a methanol-based fixative solution for rapid fixation of slides
Eosin Stain #2 is a buffered Eosin-Y solution for excellent delineation of cytoplasmic components
Counter Stain #3 is a methylene blue dye mixture for excellent delineation of nuclear and bacterial components
